Jesus Christ said ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (Jn.8:32). This refers to freedom from sin, since "all have sinned" (Rom.3:23). The "wages of sin is death," that is, eternal death (Rom.6:23). The Lord told His apostles that the Holy Spirit would guide them into "all truth." This truth, found in the New Testament, the law of Christ for all people today, can be learned and understood (Eph.:5:17). The truth that can make us free from sin was revealed in God's written Word, the Bible. Check the Bible out--a good,reliable translation of the Holy Scriptures. There is no greater wisdom than that revealed from God in His holy, written Word, the Bible. Jesus said only "a few" will be saved (Ma.7:21-23). Do you want to be one of the few saved?
